Following Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles the Giants released a statement from Owner John Mara saying that they are sticking with General Manager Joe Schoen and Head Coach Brian Daboll for next season. The move comes as a shock to most fans as the Giants just finished the season at 3-14 and with the most losses in franchise history.

Shocking news came out Monday morning when Owner and President John Mara announced that both General Manager Joe Schoen and Coach Brian Daboll would be returning to their duties in 2025. The news comes as a surprise to most as the Giants had yet another disappointing season as they finished the year with a loss to the Eagles on Sunday (20-13) to drop to 3-14 overall.

It has been a rough season so far for the New York Football Giants as they sit at 2-10 on the year with only five games remaining in the regular season. On the slate this week for the G-Men they face the New Orleans Saints (4-8) at home in MetLife Stadium. The Giants are looking to bounce back from their Thanksgiving Day loss to the Dallas Cowboys and snap their seven game losing streak. QB Drew Lock will get the nod again despite QB Tommy DeVito being healthy again.

It has been a busy bye week for the New York Giants as in a five-day span, they have demoted QB1 Daniel Jones all the way down to fourth string on Monday and then released him Friday morning. In addition, it is being reported that Head Coach Brian Daboll is coaching for his job in this last stretch of games per Jordan Schultz, so there is a lot going on off the field for the G-Men.

It is officially Jone-over in New York as the Giants released QB Daniel Jones Friday morning. The Giants issued a statement saying that Jones approached owner John Mara about being released and Mara granted Jones’ request. It is reported that both sides agreed mutually to part ways after six years together.
