    There are a few things I wouldn't recommend tourists spend money on, including cocktails from a resort.Ashley ProbstSome sunscreens and cheap beach toys can be harmful to the local environment. Skip the fake leis and imported souvenirs and support locally-owned businesses instead. As someone who was born and raised in Hawaii, I've seen tourists spend money on things that just aren't worth it.
