JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Today: Off and on showers stick around for the end of the week and will last through Friday night. Rain chances will drop late Friday and into the beginning of the weekend as temperatures begin warming up. This weekend: A mixture of sun and clouds will be the story heading into the weekend. A few spotty showers can’t be ruled out in the afternoons, however most of us will stay dry Saturday and Sunday. Afternoon highs reach the middle and upper 80s over the weekend.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Today: The jacket was needed earlier this morning, but plenty of sunshine will help us warm up to the low 70s this afternoon. You can keep the rain gear in the closet as we stay dry for the rest of the day. Skies stay clear this evening and into the overnight hours. Temperatures will fall back to the low 40s overnight. Wednesday: Another chilly start is in store for your Wednesday as morning lows dip down into the low 40s.
