Charlotte native Seth Curry was traded to the Hornets in February of 2024, last offseason, he signed a one-year $3.3 million deal to remain with the team. Now, Curry is set to become an unrestricted free agent, but Seth says he hopes to remain with this hometown team. “I keep saying it means more to play for this organization and go out there and represent the city. So I would love to moving forward,” Curry said of the opportunity to remain with the Hornets.

Despite the results of the Charlotte Hornets 2024-25 season, head coach Charles Lee says he is ending the year with optimism at the forefront. “It's hard not to be optimistic when you get to come to work with great people. The players have been absolutely phenomenal with their mindset, their approach, their hunger for coaching, for trying to get better, to come into a Spectrum Center arena with fans that are unwavering with their support, even in a 19 win season, it's pretty special,” Lee said.

LaMelo Ball’s 2024-25 campaign ended a few weeks early when Ball and the organization decided to move forward with surgery on his right ankle and right wrist on April 2, 2025. This decision allowed Ball to get a head start on the rehab process for next season. Ball shared with the media during his exit interview that he has turned his attention to getting healthy for next season. “Already been starting to train the right way, so happy with that,” Ball said.

Designers from the Charlotte Hornets, Dreamville, and Jeff Hamilton came together to produce the jacket, which is inspired by music, Carolina culture, and Hornets basketball.
