In all cases, the carriers have been found to be Indians with tourist visa. On Tuesday, Customs (Preventive) Commissionerate arrested a Kerala native and seized about 4 kg hydroponic weed worth a whopping Rs 4 crore.

BHUBANESWAR: In an effort to intensify vigil on anti-social elements and manage traffic congestion, Odisha police have planned to install artificial intelligence (AI)-based CCTV system across the town and along National Highway-316. A survey has been launched to identify the areas where the CCTV cameras equipped with facial recognition and number plate reading technology will be installed. Most of the CCTV cameras in Puri were damaged due to extremely severe cyclone Fani in 2019, sources said.

BHUBANESWAR:Trailing the financials of Hansita Abhilipsa and Anil Mohanty, the Income Tax department has stumbled upon a startling transaction of Rs 120 crore between a ‘corporate entity’ and the accused. Preliminary probe suggests Hansita and three other suspects used to liaison for the entity since the last three years for business development. “Out of the total transactions, it has been ascertained that Rs 65 crore was untaxed,” said I-T department sources.
