On 26 February 2025, the European Commission published its'Omnibus' package of proposals aimed at streamlining theexisting sustainability framework, most notably the CSRD, CSDDD,and Taxonomy Regulation. La Suisse ne dispose à ce jour pas de réglementation générale sur le contrôle des investissements directs étrangers. Avec le projet de loi publié le 15 décembre 2023, un contrôle sectoriel des investissements devrait être introduit. Le projet de loi vise uniquement à réglementer les acquisitions d'entreprises suisses actives dans des domaines critiques par des investisseurs étatiques étrangers.

Die Schweiz verfügt bislang über keine übergreifende Regelung zur Prüfung von ausländischen Direktinvestitionen. Mit dem am 15. Dezember 2023 publizierten Gesetzesentwurf soll eine sektorspezifische Investitionskontrolle eingeführt werden. Der Gesetzesentwurf will ausschliesslich Übernahmen von in kritischen Bereichen tätigen inländischen Unternehmen durch ausländische staatlich kontrollierte Investoren regulieren.
