Mercedes-Benz has secured an order from Amazon for over 200 eActros 600 electric trucks, marking its largest EV truck order to date. The vehicles will be deployed over 18 months on high-mileage routes in Germany and the UK for logistics operations. Amazon, after testing the prototypes, plans to enhance its EV charging infrastructure with 360 kW chargers, enabling the trucks to charge from 10% to 80% in just over an hour.
