Iowa Great Lakes (northwestiowanow.com) — Online registration is now open for the 43rd Annual Iowa Great Lakes Walleye Weekend. The event will take place May 3rd and 4th, 2025. Ten walleye fish have been tagged and released into the Iowa Great Lakes and the main goal is to catch one of these tagged fish. Together, the tagged fish are worth $43,000 in prize money. The fishing contest starts at 12:00 AM on Saturday, May 3rd. Participants can fish through the weekend.
