Penn State football's defensive lineman Joseph Mupoyi entered the transfer portal on Tuesday, reported by 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. As a redshirt sophomore in 2024, Mupoyi recorded one tackle against Kent State in September. He will have three years of eligibility remaining. Mupoyi was the fifth Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal following JB Nelson, Ta'Mere Robinson, Jon Mitchell and Beckham Dee.

High school defensive lineman Isaac Chukwurah committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions on Tuesday, he announced on his X account. Chukwurah attends Caravel Academy in Bear, Delaware. He is the second defensive lineman to commit to the Nittany Lions in the 2026 recruiting class, joining four-star edge rusher Daniel Jennings out of Princeton, West Virginia. Chukwurah picked Penn State over Boston College, Virginia Tech and Army.

Former Penn State linebacker Ta'Mere Robinson found a new home with the USC Trojans on Tuesday after he entered the spring transfer portal on April 16, according to On3 Sports Hayes Fawcett. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, Robinson totaled 11 total tackles, half a sack and 1 1/2 tackles for loss in 14 games. Robinson was slated to be a primary reserve at linebacker for the Penn State defense in 2025. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Former Penn State cornerback Jon Mitchell committed to playing for Georgia Tech after entering the transfer portal on April 16, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3Sports. As a true freshman in 2024, Mitchell played in six games for the Nittany Lions, recording five assisted tackles. He is the first Nittany Lion to commit to another team in the spring portal. Mitchell will have four years of eligibility remaining.
