As I walked the same walk into the same building I had thousands of times, I felt a stirring of emotions in my whole body. Fear, Sadness, excitement, despair, jubilation. I tried dressing nice to show that I had been doing well, that I was in a better place. I actually am in a better place than I was when I left the community.
