PEORIA (25News Now) -Smoke and haze have once again settled into our area with air quality being affected. Our air quality will be at a level 3 today which is unhealthy for sensitive groups. These groups include children, elderly, and those with medical conditions. While the general public may not be as affected, it can still impact us so take precautions today. The smoke should clear out tomorrow but we also have rain chances starting tomorrow as well.

PEORIA (25News Now) -A line of storms and heavy rainfall moved through last night and the back end of that line gave us more light rainfall this morning. Dry air broke apart the line of rain but more is still possible later this afternoon with our rain chances ending this evening. Cooler air behind the front and cloudy skies have led to much cooler highs today with 60s and 70s expected across the area.

PEORIA (25News Now) -Smoke and haze continue to move through the area for us today and tonight which will keep things hazy on the horizon and will keep air quality slightly lower than normal. By tomorrow though the smoke should start to shift and become less dense in our area. Plenty of sunshine today though with temperatures in the 80s again and no rain chances until Tuesday night where showers and storms are likely to start moving in.

PEORIA (25News Now) -Wildfire smoke from Canada continues to move in today. The smoke is forecast to continue blowing in over the next few days so the haze will stick around for a little while. Air quality remains mostly unaffected but if you are unusually sensitive to pollutants you may consider saying indoors a bit more today and it will continue to smell smoky outside.
