INDIANAPOLIS — One person was hospitalized after a crash involving a train and a passenger car on the near east side of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon. Public law enforcement reporting systems indicate Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the intersection of Massachusetts and Parker Avenues around 2:55 p.m. to investigate a personal injury crash. When police arrived at the scene, they located a train and car that had been involved in a crash.

INDIANAPOLIS - A large group of spinners took over a parking lot near FOX59/CBS4's studios Saturday night. Around 10:59 p.m., the spinners gathered in a parking along Network Place, which located just steps from FOX59/CBS4. Dozens of trucks, sports cars and muscle vehicles were brought to the parking lot. Once all the vehicles were gathered in one place, their drivers did burnouts, donuts and created a large amount of smoke by spinning tires.

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks, 125-108, in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals Saturday night. With the win, Indiana secured its first NBA Finals berth since 2000. The Pacers will play the Western Conference's champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday. After Saturday's game, fans flooded downtown Indianapolis' bars and streets to celebrate the Pacers' win.

Competitive eater and Westfield native Joey Chestnut won the 2024 St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail Eating Contest in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon. Chestnut ate a record 21 pounds of shrimp during the contest. Before Saturday, Chestnut hadn't won the event since 2021.
