During that time, as an exacerbating factor, there was a significant reduction (at Sonoma State) in marketing and recruitment. PD: Talk about the importance of marketing and recruitment, and what happens when it is ineffective, or goes away.

The event, described by Catholic Charities CEO Jennielynn Holmes as "grassroots and pretty informal," starts at 5 p.m. Part of its purpose will be to address the shortfall resulting from the recent cancellation, by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, of the nonprofit's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services grant.

Frank Gaul was just trying to get to work. The 36-year-old from Santa Rosa is a file maintenance clerk at the Safeway in Windsor. If you’re struggling to find something on the shelves, said Gaul with a laugh, “I can tell you exactly where it is.”Last year, on June 22, he did not show up at the supermarket for his early morning shift. Gaul was riding his orange, Vitalin V3 ebike north on Fulton Road at around 3:15 a.m. when a vehicle pulled up behind him, then flicked on its high beams, he recalled.
