When Jack Parker (McCormick ’23) and Cora Pancoast (McCormick ’23) DJed together as juniors at Northwestern’s studio radio station WNUR, they had disparate tastes in music. Parker wanted to play ambient folk music and songwriter-oriented records, while Pancoast preferred hardcore punk and riot girl. Today, they have a rock band together, Truth or Consequences New Mexico, and released their second EP “This Time of Year” on April 11.

No. 10 Northwestern continued its dominance at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, California, capturing the team title for the third consecutive year. Senior Lauryn Nguyen led the Wildcats by finishing as the individual champion, her career second individual championship. NU saved its best for last in its West Coast victory. The ’Cats’ team 2-under entering the final round was two shots behind the lead, but their team 5-under on Wednesday to propel the team to a team 3-under resulted in victory.

February 13, 2025 Every Fall Quarter, hopeful Northwestern students fill out a survey created by two Stanford undergraduates in 2017. The goal is to find their optimal romantic match on campus. Since its arrival on campus in 2020, thousands of NU students have participated in The Marriage Pact. Some have found friends, situationships and even partners.

Since its switch from an internal combustion engine to a fully electrical car in 2023, Northwestern Formula Racing has been unable to develop a drivable vehicle, McCormick junior Stella Heo said. This year, the team is looking to change that. Heo’s freshman year was the first time the club went fully electric. Since then, they have had to alter their approach to building a car, she said.
