A scare at Hobby Airport today, after a Southwest Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing after a small engine fire. According to the Houston Fire Department, the small engine fire forced the plane to circle back shortly after takeoff around 11:30am. As reported by our tv partner KPRC channel 2, the plane landed safely and came to a stop on the taxiway. The emergency slides were deployed, and passengers were evacuated.
