PEORIA (25News Now) - An approaching area of low pressure and warm front will drive the chance for scattered light rainfall the first half of our Wednesday. Rain chances have trended downward for today as dry air will cut away at our showers this morning. Dry weather is expected for the second half of the day outside of one or two lingering showers. We will not see much in terms of accumulations, with only up to a tenth or two possible for those who do see the rain today.

PEORIA (25News Now) - High pressure will be the main driver to our forecast today keeping conditions sunny and calm. You will want the coat as you head out the door as temperatures start off in the 20’s with many seeing a hard freeze overnight. A bit of patchy frost is possible this morning as you head out the door. Sunny skies will dominate due to our high pressure before we introduce rain chances into the forecast tomorrow.
