UPDATE (As of 9:29 p.m.): An update provided by the Ada County Sheriff's Office indicates that police were called to a residence near the intersection of S. Cloverdale and E. Columbia Roads after 20-year-old Aimable Dusenge drove their vehicle through a fence. The driver was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash and ran into a nearby residence.

BOISE, Idaho — According to the Boise Police Department, a suspect is dead after police responded to a "possible hostage situation" in the 1200 block of N. Liberty Street on Sunday. A third party initially reported the potential hostage situation to authorities around 2:35 p.m. The report specified that the suspect in question was threatening an adult male victim inside the residence with a knife.

BOISE, Idaho — Although it didn't happen this week, the Boise State University Broncos are inching ever closer to their first top-10 ranking since 2011. On Sunday, the Associated Press lifted the BSU football team to the #12 spot after Ashton Jeanty and co. handled San Diego State University 56-24 this past Friday at home. During the victory, Jeanty scored two touchdowns and rushed for 149 yards.

After their second BYE week of the season, the Broncos' standing in the AP College Football Ranking fell to #17 after being ranked #15 just a week ago. Kansas State and Indiana both leapfrogged BSU in the AP Rankings after each team notched decisive wins over the weekend. Kansas State defeated West Virginia 45-18 while Indiana maintained their undefeated record after beating Nebraska by almost 50 points.

ADA COUNTY, Idaho - Starting on October 15, eligible voters can cast their ballots at a variety of locations throughout Ada County. Early voting will end on November 1, after which Idaho citizens hoping to cast their ballots will have to do so at their designated polling location on Election Day, November 5.
