Air traffic at Brussels South Charleroi Airport has been temporarily suspended after a bomb threat was reported on board a Ryanair aircraft shortly before 11:00 AM. As a result, no flights are currently allowed to land or depart from the airport. The Ryanair flight, which originated from Porto, landed safely, according to confirmation from the airport to VRT NWS. The aircraft was immediately moved to a remote area of the airport.

A routing Ryanair flight from Brussels (CRL) to Castellón, Spain (flight FR4797), turned extraordinary on Thursday, May 8, when a passenger went into labour mid-air — and gave birth to a baby girl at 18,000 feet. After spending over a month in detention in Kenya, Flemish teenagers Seppe Lodewijckx (18) and David Lornoy (19) have returned to Belgium following their conviction for the attempted smuggling of 5,000 live ants.
