Happy Mother's Day! Today is all about celebrating Mom, and Mother Nature wanted to get in on the fun. Sunshine will be around for the first half of the day with more clouds building in for the second half. Highs reach the upper 70s later this afternoon. A stray shower will be possible in our southern counties later this evening, but the better chance for storms will be tomorrow.

Posted Happy Saturday! A beautiful weekend is ahead with highs reaching the low 70s this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine remains throughout the weekend as well. We get even warmer on Sunday, climbing to the mid 70s by the late afternoon. Tomorrow will be warmer with most of us reaching the low 70s in the afternoon with partly cloudy conditions. Late showers and thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front moves through the state. We will cool back down to the mid/upper 60s to end the week. Have a great evening!

Posted Happy Monday! A stalled out upper low pressure system will keep us gloomy throughout the evening, but it will start to pull away tomorrow. We have partly cloudy conditions Tuesday with highs returning to the upper 60s. More clouds return on Wednesday with highs back in the low 70s. A few showers will possible Thursday thanks to a cold front, but we remain in the low 70s to end the week. Have a great evening!

Happy Sunday! It will be a mostly cloudy afternoon with isolated showers possible throughout the day. We stay cooler as well, highs only reaching the upper 50s/low 60s. Tomorrow looks similar with light showers and highs in the upper 50s. We finally start to warm up and see some sunshine by Tuesday.

Stay weather aware this evening/afternoon. Central Kentucky is under an enhanced/slight risk for severe weather as strong storms develop along a cold front today with damaging winds as the main threat. Large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible with these systems. The front will stall over central Kentucky, firing up more isolated showers and storms throughout the rest of the week.

Happy Monday! A stunning start to the week, but don't get too used to it. Storms and showers are firing up on Tuesday night. Monday evening is calm and quiet, we stay warm tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s/low 80s. A cold front will start to move through the state tomorrow afternoon, sparking showers and storms in the late afternoon/evening. Depending on where you are at, a marginal or slight risk for severe weather will go into effect tomorrow.
