    Tiger Woods announced that he underwent surgery on Tuesday after tearing his left Achilles tendon as he began to “ramp up” his training at home. The 49-year-old shared the news in a post on X, revealing that Dr. Charlton Stucken from the Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida, performed a “minimally invasive” procedure to repair the tendon. “The surgery went as planned, and we expect a full recovery,” Dr. Stucken said in a statement.
