For a while there, golfers struggled with an image issue. They were all thrown into a category of stuffy old dads, something that cool teenagers can rebel against. Then the pandemic happened. And everyone started playing golf again.

Golfers and their pants have had an interesting public relationship over the past century or so. Men and women who've walked and carted around the grounds of the world's most iconic golf courses have done so in everything. Seriously. People have been playing golf in skirts, tights, knickers, plus fours, sweatpants, dress slacks, suit pants, full-plaid abominations—and I haven't even mentioned shorts yet.
