Thursday night, the St. Peter track and field team traveled to Faribault to compete in one of the premier early season events in Southern Minnesota, the Ted Nelson Invitational, which featured six total teams this year from class A to the AAA Owatonna Huskies. As a team, the Saints girls finished second, trailing only Owatonna, with a 190 points, seven behind the Huskies. Meanwhile the boys finished third, behind Owatonna and Faribault, with 113.5 points.

Looking to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to New Ulm Friday evening, the St. Peter Saints softball team hosted the Marshall Tigers, the team that ended their season last year. With two towering home runs from junior Auden Anderson that resulted in three RBI's, the Saints survived a fifth inning rally from the Tigers to secure a 4-2 victory. After suffering a tough 3-2 loss to New Ulm Friday night, the St. Peter baseball team made the trek to Marshall to take on the Tigers Tuesday night. Marshall ace and Southwest Minnesota State commit Joshua Kraft controlled the action all night, throwing five innings of no-hit ball while adding a homerun and four RBI's, to lead the Tigers to a 10-0 victory over St. Peter. Tuesday night, the Le Sueur-Henderson and Tri-City United track and field teams joined Mayer Lutheran, New Century Academy and Sibley East in an invitational hosted by the Wolverines. In the girls competition, the Titans finished first with 267.5 points while the Giants claimed third with 104.5 points and in the boys matchup, the LS-H boys earned first with 181 points and the TCU boys finished fourth with a total score of 122.
