Easter Sunday will be partly sunny and pleasant. High pressure north of Ohio will push drier air southward, with a light easterly wind. Afternoon temperatures will approach 70s degrees in central Ohio. Showers will develop in the western part of the state overnight as a frontal boundary returns northward, spreading east after midnight. Low pressure will track across the mid-Mississippi Valley to the western Great Lakes early Monday.

Low pressure east of the Great Lakes will drag a cold front across Ohio this evening, with small clusters of showers and a few embedded gusty thunderstorms. Temperatures warmed into the upper 70s, but will drop off into the 60s behind the front. Skies will remain cloudy tonight, with rain chances diminishing after sunset, leaving only a few scattered showers after midnight.

High pressure shifted east of the Mid-Atlantic states, setting up a strong southerly flow of warm air flowing that will send temperatures to 80 degrees, with partly sunny skies. Winds will gust up to 30 mph. Skies will cloud up tonight, with showers developing after midnight across the northern part of the state ahead of a slow-moving cold front. The holiday weekend will be generally cloudy with occasional showers and embedded storms Saturday, as the frontal boundary sags south.

High pressure will shift east, with a light southerly flow bringing a warmup after a frosty start this morning. Afternoon temperatures will be more seasonable, in the mid-60s. Clouds will increase later in the day ahead of a warm front that could trigger a few showers tonight across the north, with temperatures holding in the 50s. Good Friday will be windy and quite warm, as temperatures reach 80 degrees. Winds will gust out of the southwest up to 30 mph, with a mix of sun and clouds.

The weather is more seasonable after a chilly start, with patchy clouds and isolated sprinkles along a warm front, as temperatures rebound to around 60 degrees. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy overnight, with milder temperatures only falling to near 50 degrees. A few light showers are possible around daybreak.
