Counts Jr. was initially charged with second-degree domestic assault, third-degree assault of a special victim and resisting arrest, but both assault charges were dismissed. Counts Jr. will now serve five years of supervised probation.

OZARK, Mo. — Josh Hawley defeated Lucas Kunce in a race for a Missouri U.S. Senate seat, the Associated Press reported. Hawley, the Republican incumbent, wins his second consecutive six-year term for the Senate seat. Kunce, the Democratic challenger, fell short in his third bid for a Missouri U.S. Senate seat. 2024 Election: All Missouri results Hawley first attained his U.S. Senate seat in 2018, ousting Democrat incumbent Claire McCaskill by a margin of 51.5% to 45.5%.

According to court documents, Brett Allen Emehiser, 44, was arrested for 20 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. On Sept. 13, at 4:27 p.m., Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to a report of a possible intoxicated driver at Route EE and Boot Circle in Camden County.

Under a plea agreement, Chase Hoffmann pleaded guilty to one count of stealing more than $750. Hoffmann has been ordered to five years of probation with community service and mandatory moral recognition therapy.
