The Red Devils looked like they were heading for their 10th defeat of the season on Thursday against Southampton, the basement boys of the Premier League. Manuel Ugarte’s own goal left them trailing 1-0 heading in the final ten minutes of the game, but Diallo stepped up to pull United out of another hole with a brilliant hat-trick.

So fans are naturally focusing mostly on what’s happening on the pitch. But, of course, it’s also the January transfer window. Between games, fans are dreaming up their ideal transfers and hoping their clubs are active in the window. This week alone we saw a massive move take place with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia joining Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli.

La Liga rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona will compete for the Supercopa de España. The final is set to take place at the King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, kicking off at 7 PM (UK time), but will not be available for viewing on UK television, as no broadcaster currently holds the rights to air Spanish Super Cup matches.
