The Music Managers Forum (MMF) and YouTube Music have revealed the latest participants in their Accelerator Programme, with Dan Chalmers tipping the group’s “emerging leaders” for success. “Accelerator is now seven years strong and it has blossomed into something truly special – way more than just a programme, it's a real community,” said Chalmers, head of music, YouTube, EMEA at Google.

ADA UK managing director Howard Corner has told Music Week that his team is “as focused, motivated and hungry as we’ve ever been” in the wake of a busy start to 2025. The label and artist services business recently celebrated a Top 10 album for Music Week cover star Nemzzz and Corner (pictured above with his team and recent signing Songer) believes ADA has “the best roster of contemporary rap music in the UK”.

Transgressive Records co-founder Tim Dellow has shared his high hopes for The New Eves, as Music Week can exclusively reveal their signing to the London-based indie. The hotly tipped Brighton quartet have signed a global recording deal with Transgressive, with their first single for the label, Highway Man, out now. “We are thrilled that The New Eves chose us to help share their unique vision with the world,” Dellow told Music Week.

MMC held its 30th Anniversary celebration event at its creative hub in Deptford, South London this week. Ivor Novello award winner Yussef Dayes and Ahnansé (aka Wayne Francis, founder of Steam Down) started their music careers at MMC.

Noah Kahan, Chase & Status, Tony Christie and The Corrs are the latest winners to be announced for the 2025 O2 Silver Clef Awards. Nordoff and Robbins has revealed the second wave of winners for the event, which takes place on July 2 from 6pm at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, hosted by Edith Bowman. Noah Kahan is to receive the Best Male Award, with Chase & Status winning Best Group, Tony Christie beinghonoured with the Icon Award and The Corrs to win the Legend Award.
