That's a wrap on the big Summer Game Fest 2025 livestream, and while Xbox Game Pass didn't feature much during the two-hour long event, we did get a couple of fresh trailers for two upcoming XGP titles. One of those is dated for a July release in the form of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, whilst Annapurna's Mixtape also got a fresh trailer, but no locked-in release date.

Summer Game Fest 2025 has just closed out with the announcement of Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem — the next mainline entry in its famous horror franchise — and it even got a nailed on release date: Resident Evil 9 launches February 27th, 2026. What will also be known as 'RE9' in some circles (the trailer logo even suggested this), looks absolutely epic - and if there's one big AAA franchise that's consistently delivered over the last decade or so, it's Resident Evil.

SEGA has just announced an official release date for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which heads to Xbox consoles on September 25th, 2025. However, the news that's really piqued our interest from today's Summer Game Fest trailer is the inclusion of a Minecraft crossover. You can check out a sneak peek of this at the end of the clip up above - but it is worth pointing out that this appears to be premium DLC of some sort for the new kart racer, as the smallprint on the trailer suggests.

Recent soulslike Lies of P was a pretty fantastic addition to Xbox Game Pass when it launched there back in 2023, and it seems as though the game's upcoming 'Overture' expansion is about to shadow drop on Xbox - bringing more action-RPG goodness to the platform in the process. Ahead of Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest livestream, a new Lies of P: Overture trailer has leaked and is circulating on social media (thanks, VGC).
