MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for a man they say intentionally started four fires across New York City on Friday. The first fire was started around 2:20 a.m. in front of 254 Broadway, damaging an NYPD emergency vehicle, according to the NYPD. More Local News The man is accused of starting three additional fires afterward. At 2:35 a.m., a fire was started in front of 14 Murray St., damaging an unoccupied vehicle, according to the NYPD.

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — An unlicensed cannabis shop blocks away from Yellowstone Park and Russell Sage Junior High School in Forest Hills was shuttered Friday. Approximately $38,200 worth of marijuana was seized during a search, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced. More Local News Surveillance showed illegal sales of cannabis through a roll-down gate at The Smoke House at 103-17 Queens Boulevard.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A search is underway after 11 men were reportedly robbed by an armed suspect riding a motorized scooter in Brooklyn. The incidents happened in November and December in Bushwick, Cypress Hills, and Ridgewood. More Local News Police say the suspect was riding on a dark-colored motorized scooter and targeted cellphones, cash, and jewelry. The robberies mostly happened late at night or in the early morning hours.
