Ten years ago the renowned West Australian surf photographer Russell Ord took a call from his mate, the musician Qynn Beardman. Beardman runs the Grassroots Foundation in remote parts of Western Australia, which provides music tuition, mentoring and emotional support for disadvantaged school kids who would not normally have access to music sessions or instruments.
