    Memorial University’s Faculty Association is calling for an emergency meeting with President Neil Bose following a security breach at MUN’s Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook. Classes on campus returned to normal on Monday following the IT attack first reported on December 29th. MUNFA says their members do not have the materials needed to conduct their work after staff were ordered to hand in their university-issued devices following the cyberattack.

    Resource Enforcement Officers are conducting an investigation into a caribou poaching incident near Loon Bay in Notre Dame Bay. A fresh caribou paunch was found on the Loon Bay Access Road, an area closed to caribou hunting. Evidence at the scene suggested that the animal was killed sometime between the evening of Monday, December 11th, and the morning of Wednesday, December 13th.
