LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The WHAS11 Weather Impact Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for Saturday. Rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected through the afternoon and evening with gusty wind, frequent lightning and possible hail. While we can't rule out a spin-up tornado, the threat is low. After an early morning round of storms mainly west of I-65 and in Southern Indiana, more widespread thunderstorms are expected to develop Saturday afternoon into the early evening.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Are you "snow-ver" it? Or do you want more snowfall? Either way, here we SNOW again! A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for Metro Louisville, along with areas along and north of I-64 where 2-3" snowfall totals can be expected. The Advisory begins 7 p.m. Tuesday and continues until noon Wednesday. Heavier amounts of snowfall will be possible south of Louisville, where you can see the Winter Storm Warning in dark purple.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The WHAS11 Weather Impact Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert Day for Saturday, Feb. 15, for the potential of flooding rainfall. The rain will be around all day Saturday, and become heaviest Saturday evening; 2-5 inches of rain can be expected. Be prepared for lowland areas, rivers, creeks, and streams to experience flooding. Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency Friday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Winter has taken a break over the last couple of weeks, but is likely to swing back around next week. The WHAS11 Weather Impact Team is expecting snow to develop Monday night and continue through Tuesday. Early models indicate most of the snowfall potential is lining up north of I-64. Snowfall accumulations will be possible, with so far, minor accumulations likely with mostly above freezing temperatures.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The WHAS11 Weather Impact Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for Thursday morning due to extremely cold wind chills. Wind chills will be in the single digits, and possibly colder north of the Ohio River Thursday morning with the combination of Polar Air and gusty winds. School delays will be possible.
