Leigh Acevedo, interim executive director, said the events are designed to bring the community together in support of Savannah’s urban canopy, all while raising funds to meet the goal of planting 10,000 trees by the year 2030. On Friday, April 25, STF will participate in the Earth Day Festival in Daffin Park.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The builder of the 2025 St. Jude Dream Home in Pooler held a special gathering today to mark a milestone in the construction. Landmark24 homes invited all of the subcontractors, vendors and sponsors to sign the concrete slab of the home before the hardwood floors are installed. It is a tradition every year in the St. Jude Dream Home campaign. Landmark 24 homes is building a $580,000 home at zero cost to the hospital in the Harmony neighborhood of Pooler.
