(WSAV) — A popular national TV show took over a Savannah museum this week. “Antiques Roadshow” is currently on its 30th anniversary tour searching for America’s hidden treasures and the crew made a stop at the Georgia State Railroad Museum. The Coastal Heritage Society operates the museum and said thousands of people visited the museum on Monday and Tuesday to have experts appraise their precious items.

The $580,000 home is being built at zero cost to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Harmony neighborhood. The expected completion date is next week. Georgia residents have two ways to enter: You can reserve a ticket online or call 800-383-9844 to reserve your $100 ticket.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Tree Foundation (STF) is hosting several events this week to mark Earth Day and Arbor Day. Leigh Acevedo, interim executive director, said the events are designed to bring the community together in support of Savannah’s urban canopy, all while raising funds to meet the goal of planting 10,000 trees by the year 2030. SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The builder of the 2025 St. Jude Dream Home in Pooler held a special gathering today to mark a milestone in the construction. Landmark24 homes invited all of the subcontractors, vendors and sponsors to sign the concrete slab of the home before the hardwood floors are installed. It is a tradition every year in the St. Jude Dream Home campaign. Landmark 24 homes is building a $580,000 home at zero cost to the hospital in the Harmony neighborhood of Pooler.
