Cosmetics retailer Lush has announced the 2025 winners of the Lush Spring Prize, which rewards and recognises organisations from all over the world that work to help regenerate the planet. A total of 19 companies will share the circa £250,000 prize pot which will be used to support their regenerative work covering a variety of social, environmental, and ethical projects.

Longchamp is cutting its use of paper in store operations by rolling out digital receipts to customers via a partnership with tech company Yocuda. Digital receipts have now been rolled out across 135 Longchamp stores in 23 countries, replacing the traditional PDF receipts with what the tech supplier describes as “dynamic, highly personalised emailed receipts”.

Tesco and Pod (formerly known as Pod Point) have extended their partnership so that consumers using electric vehicle chargers at the retailer’s stores can earn Clubcard points. Clubcard members can now collect a point for every pound spent on charging at Pod’s Vauxhall-branded chargers at Tesco shops. As part of the extended tie-up, electric vehicle drivers can also receive 2,500 Clubcard points by signing up to Pod’s new all-inclusive home charging subscription Pod Drive as a new customer.

The iPad has been added to the Apple Self Service Repair programme, which means owners of the tech have an opportunity to extend the life of these products outside warranty. By joining the scheme, consumers will have access to repair manuals, genuine Apple parts, Apple diagnostics troubleshooting sessions, tools, and rental toolkits. Repair support for the iPad Air (M2 and later), iPad Pro (M4), iPad mini (A17 Pro), and iPad (A16) is currently available.

Japan-based global drinks conglomerate Suntory Group has announced it is working with agritech startup Towing to explore use of biochar in agriculture. The companies have launched a joint pilot programme to explore the potential of high-performance biochar, which is produced from manufacturing byproducts in Suntory Group’s supply chain.
