Ex-All Black head coach Ian Foster has reflected on his turbulent time as All Blacks head coach in an open and honest podcast on Between Two Beers. For the record, Foster’s All Blacks did some great things despite the stumbles early in the tenure. He kept all the silverware away from rivals Australia and South Africa, winning the Tri-Nations (2020), and Rugby Championship three times. He kept the Freedom Cup and Bledisloe Cup.

All Blacks head coach Scott Roberston has revealed how the side tried to intervene to get Springboks’ hooker Bongi Mbonambi’s controversial try looked at in the Ellis Park Test last year. This has nothing to do with the players or styles of play, and everything to do with how the game is managed for fans. Interruptions. Deliberations. Overbearing management. SRP has eliminated these and maximised flow. It’s the leading rugby product. It’s up to the North to move

The Southern Hemisphere is LEADING the game now with Super Rugby Pacific. The North is falling way behind with the stop-start checklist rugby. It’s a messy watch and inferior product. The world must follow the South to catch up.
