    This week, we begin by acknowledging some sobering news that will not have escaped anyone’s attention over the last month. The month of September witnessed two devastating climate events in Europe. As Storm Boris ravaged Central Europe, floods left at least 24 dead, thousands evacuated, and caused extensive damage in multiple countries.
