Portugal have emerged winners of the UEFA Nations League after they beat Spain on penalties in in the final in Munich on Sunday night. Cristiano Ronaldo forced the game to extra time after he scored a 61-minute equaliser for Portugal to make it 2-2. The multi award winner was in tears after the game as he came onto the pitch to celebrate his third international trophy, having now won one European Championship and two Nations Leagues.

Tottenham Hotspur have parted ways with Ange Postecoglou barely 16 days after they won the Europa League title. Spurs secured a 1-0 win over Manchester United in Bilbao to seal a first major trophy for 17 years. However, it came towards the end of their worst Premier League season, with the London club finishing 17th after losing 22 of their 38 matches.
