The Grand Tour is set to be refreshed with a new trio of hosts. According to UK newspaper The Sun, Amazon’s Prime Video has recruited Canadian, Thomas Holland, and Brit, James Engelsman, from YouTube channel Throttle House to host The Grand Tour. Joining them is said to be Francis Bourgeois, arguably the internet’s most popular trainspotter.

The 2025 Cupra Born has been removed from the company’s website, two-and-a-half years after it initially went on sale. With 301 sales of the Born electric hatch recorded by Cupra in 2025, it’s believed the company’s allocation has dried up – after the model was heavily discounted as part of a run-out deal. “The Cupra Born has recently performed very well in Australia and stock is now sold out,” a spokesperson for the brand said in a written statement.

Renault’s performance arm Alpine isn’t content with competing against Porsche – now the French brand is going after Ferrari and McLaren. The ghost of Australia’s longest-running car brand could be about to haunt one of the newest. Chinese carmaker Chery recently announced it was changing the name of the Omoda 5, with the updated small SUV to now be known as the Chery C5. However, the C5 was the name given to Citroen’s large family car – a model first launched in Australia in 2001, and was sold as an alternative to the German brands for a decade and a half.

The Ram 1500 pick-up will be offered with a V8 engine once again. Ram made the announcement to the US market, with the 5.7-litre ‘Hemi’ V8 returning for the 2026 Ram 1500 – with sales expected to begin in the coming months. The announcement confirms an earlier leaked email from the organisation, as reported by CarSauce in March 2025. However, Ram Trucks Australia has poured water on the news.
