It seems as if the legends were true, because Lego The Shire has just been unveiled after months of leaks and rumors - and Samwise Gamgee himself, Sean Astin, has pulled back the curtain. Astin shows viewers around miniature Bag End in a rather heart-warming video some ways down the Lego store page that recreates scenes from Fellowship of the Ring in brick form.

Set loose the Nazgul, because the enormous Lego Barad-dur set just got an equally enormous discount. More importantly, this kit (which is a follow-up to one of the best Lego sets in my opinion, Rivendell) has literally never been cheaper than it is now. I've been covering discounts for a long time now, and this kind of saving is rare. To be precise, Lego Barad-dur is currently £339.99 at Amazon instead of almost £400. That's an eye-catching £60 less than normal, or 15% if you're feeling fancy.
