On Opening Day at Fenway Park this year, the Red Sox trotted out members of the 1975 World Series team during pre-game festivities. Watching at home, I had two thoughts about this. One was that Carlton Fisk looked sprightly for someone who hit a famous home run half a century ago. His skin still had the same sheen I remember from 25 years ago, when he visited the TV booth to reminisce on his playing days.
