1 INTRODUCTION Mammalian predators have adapted to urban and peri-urban environments across the world, resulting in positive and negative interactions with people (Bateman & Fleming, 2012). To exploit the different types of resources available to them, individual animals utilising urban areas may exhibit behaviours distinct to their less urbanised counterparts (Klump et al., 2022).
