Photo by Patrick McDermott/Getty Images The Miami Dolphins announced a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension for QB Tua Tagovailoa on Friday afternoon. Tagovailoa, who is coming off a breakout season for the Dolphins in 2023-24, will get paid $53.1 million per season. Tua’s deal is just the latest in a string of massive contracts for NFL QBs. The next up on the docket could be Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love, who isn’t practicing at training camp until a deal is reached.

Because of that fandom, I’m also familiar with the workings of QB Aaron Rodgers. Say what you want about A-Rod, but when healthy, he’s arguably the best QB to ever step on a football field.

Most of those question marks were spawned due to the lack of moves made during the NFL Draft and free agency to address holes at wide receiver and running back. On top of that, star WR CeeDee Lamb has decided to not report to training camp and hold out for a new contract extension.

FOr now, it’s a good time to do a ton of research as we have plenty of info going into training camps in August. That’s when we can start to refine the players we like and get a better sense of what type of team we’ll be drafting in season-long for 2024-25. The idea here is for us to simply auto draft a team using Fantasy Pros mock draft simulator wizard.
