INTRODUCTION The skin is the largest organ of the body and is commonly visible, particularly on the arms and legs of children. As such, skin infections can have a significant impact on overall health, wellbeing and self-image. Indigenous peoples' cultures and knowledge have existed globally for tens of thousands of years. These cultures and knowledge inform world-leading comprehensive healthcare models that meet the holistic needs of respective communities.
