Connecticut’s 82-59 rout of the OU women’s basketball team in the Sweet 16 was a bummer for the Sooner season. Some dismissed the improvement of Jennie Baranczyk’s program, since that regional quarterfinal was so one-sided. Things look much different today. Connecticut on Sunday won its 12th NCAA championship in the last 30 years, all under coach Geno Auriemma, and did so in resounding fashion.
