Located in sunny Estoril, Portugal, the conference covered all things GBS, from building GBS foundations to hot topics such as Agentic AI. A session that particularly stood out to me was The Outsourcing Customers' Panel: The Good, the Bad, and the Unexpected of Working with BPOs, where industry experts shared their lived experiences with BPO providers.

Being in the military doesn’t exclude you from being able to make a medical negligence claim in circumstances where your military healthcare provider has failed to meet acceptable standards of medical care. While there is no doubt that being in the military can be a dangerous profession, and injury can be sustained in the line of duty, this doesn’t mean that service personnel should be expected to accept a lower level of medical care.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) workers were called to a U.S. Air Force base on Tuesday to wrangle an alligator that was discovered under an airplane on the military runway. According to The New York Post, the nearly 10-foot-long alligator was found basking on the tarmac at MacDill Air Force Base in Hillsborough County, Florida, on Tuesday.

Scientists have raised concerns that “zombie deer disease,” also called chronic wasting disease (CWD), is spreading. The first reported cases were detected through routine monitoring of park wildlife and were discovered in deer living in the national battlefields of Antietam and Monocacy. According to the CDC, CWD is a prion disease that has been found in North America, Norway, Canada, and South Korea.
