    Fans of locally brewed beers may be drinking more than their favorite brew, according to a new study that looks at the effects of PFAS “forever chemicals.” The chemicals have been detected in hundreds of municipal drinking water supplies, and could affect the craft beer industry, the study said. PFAS — per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals — are used in a wide variety of products and are called “forever chemicals” because they don’t easily break down in the environment.

The respected financial news outlet’s “48 Great Colleges Here And Abroad That Are Still Accepting Applications” includes 27 U.S. schools. Students who receive financial aid make up a majority of those enrolled.
