A Heat Advisory has been issued through the start of next week. A Heat Advisory has been issued starting today at noon and continuing until Tuesday at 9 p.m. Feel-like temperatures over the next several days will climb into the lower 100s. Good morning and happy Thursday! It’s warm out the door with temperatures in the 60s. There is some patchy fog, add extra time to your morning commute. We climb into the 80s with sunshine today. Sunshine continues into the weekend with climbing temperatures. Temperatures will climb into the middle 80s this afternoon with mostly sunny skies. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5-15 mph. Overnight tonight temperatures will drop into the middle 60s with mostly starry skies.

Good morning and happy Monday! We are dry this morning with temperatures in the 60s. We are warm this week with rain chances too. 90s are expected by this weekend. Temperatures today will climb into the middle and upper 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be out of the east at 5-10 mph. An isolated afternoon shower cannot be ruled out. Overnight tonight temperatures will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s with a few clouds. Winds will be out of the east at 3-6 mph.

Good morning and happy Thursday! We are dry this morning with temperatures in the 60s. We are mostly dry today with more rain chances Friday and again Saturday. We are trending dry for the start of next week. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s with mostly cloudy skies. A few showers are possible today but expect a mostly dry day. I can’t rule out some sunshine either. Winds will be out of the north at 5-15 mph.

Good morning and happy Wednesday! We are tracking showers and some heavier rain this morning. Rain continues on and off today with more rain chances this week. Some minor flooding is possible. There are several flood alerts this morning across mid-MO. Some communities picked up over 3” of rainfall on Tuesday. Low water crossings, areas prone to flooding, creeks and streams all have the potential for flooding issues. As always, turn around, don’t drown.

We are tracking rain chances and a cooldown by the end of this week. Temperatures today will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s under mostly sunny skies. We won’t enjoy the blue skies, though, as wildfire smoke from Canada brings hazy skies across mid-MO. Winds will be out of the south at 5-15 mph.

We are warmer this afternoon with plenty of sunshine with even warmer temperatures heading into the weekend. With winds out of the northwest, wildfire smoke will move in from the north. This could cause hazy skies and poor air quality.
