Good morning and happy Wednesday! We are tracking showers and some heavier rain this morning. Rain continues on and off today with more rain chances this week. Some minor flooding is possible. There are several flood alerts this morning across mid-MO. Some communities picked up over 3” of rainfall on Tuesday. Low water crossings, areas prone to flooding, creeks and streams all have the potential for flooding issues. As always, turn around, don’t drown.

Good morning and happy Monday! We are warm this morning with temperatures in the 60s. We are climbing into the upper 80s this afternoon. We are tracking rain chances and a cooldown by the end of this week. Temperatures today will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s under mostly sunny skies. We won’t enjoy the blue skies, though, as wildfire smoke from Canada brings hazy skies across mid-MO. Winds will be out of the south at 5-15 mph.

Good morning and happy Friday! We are starting off with mostly clear skies and some patchy fog. We are warmer this afternoon with plenty of sunshine with even warmer temperatures heading into the weekend. Temperatures will climb into the upper 70s and lower 80s today with winds out of the northwest at 5-15 mph, gusting up to 20 mph. With winds out of the northwest, wildfire smoke will move in from the north. This could cause hazy skies and poor air quality.

Good morning and happy Thursday! We are tracking showers this morning with mostly cloudy skies. Showers continue throughout the day Thursday. Dry and warmer conditions are expected heading into the weekend and early next week. Temperatures today will only climb into the upper 60s, over 10° below average, under mostly cloudy skies. Showers are likely throughout the day but it will not be a washout day.

Good morning and happy Wednesday! We are dry this morning with cloudy skies. We do see the sun today before rain chances move back in on Thursday. We are dry and warmer heading into the weekend. Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. Overnight tonight temperatures will drop into the middle 50s with increasing clouds ahead of rain chances on Thursday. Rain chances return on Thursday before we finally start to dry out.
