Simon takes over the afternoon slot, following the recent death of Jazz FM’s Jamie CrickJazz FM have announced that presenter Simon Phillips is swapping Magic Radio drivetime for Jazz FM, and is set to join the station to take on the weekday 2-6pm ‘afternoon drive’ slot, following the recent and sudden passing of long-term presenter Jamie Crick.

Hits Radio have announced today two new presenters for Hits Radio and Hits Radio Pride. Joining Hits Radio for a new 6 – 9 am Sunday Breakfast Show, will be broadcaster Mary Mandefield. Mary has recently hosted youth social action show, Life Hacks, for BBC Radio 1 as well as presenting shows for BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Radio London. Her first show for Hits Radio will be Sunday 8th October.

The stations will be available from Monday October 30thGreatest Hits Radio, home to Ken Bruce, Simon Mayo and Jackie Brambles, will soon be welcoming more listeners across Oxfordshire as it launches on FM later this month. The station, which plays the biggest songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s, will bring its line-up of programmes including Oxfordshire-based Ken’s mid-morning show featuring Popmaster, from October 30th. It will also feature a regional mid-afternoon show hosted by Martin Starke.

– New schedule launches October 9th with new shows from 1pm to 1amMagic Radio has today announced a new chapter for the much-loved radio station with new shows from 1pm to 1am Monday to Friday and a new look weekend team including Nicole Appleton, Emma B and Angellica Bell. Tom Price and Kat Shoob have landed the coveted drivetime slot. The pair will team up for ‘The 4 till 7 Show with Tom and Kat’ launching Monday 9th October.
