National Savings and Investments (NS&I), the government-backed savings bank, has increased returns on the latest issue of its British Savings Bonds by up 0.55 percentage points from today, writes Bethany Garner. The latest issue of NS&I’s one-year British Savings Bond pays 4.05% AER, up from 3.95%, while its two-year counterpart returns 4.00% AER, up from 3.60%. Meanwhile, the two-year bond offers a return of 4.00% – up 0.40 percentage points from the previous issue.
