Hello Everyone :)I pray today finds you all doing well, and I'm so thankful you chose to stop by The Preppy Book Princess today for another book review. If you've been around for awhile, then you'd probably already be aware of the fact that I primarily share reviews of the many Christian fiction titles I read on a regular basis. However, I do change things up once in awhile, and today I'm here to share a review with you all of a title that had been sitting on my bookshelves for quite sometime.

Rushed worldbuilding and romance by peer pressure undercut any excitement the occasional battle might engender. What could have been an interesting exploration of the conflict between science and magic instead devolves into a choice based simply on who has the bigger bombs. Sixteen-year-old Glenn is a genius computer engineer torn between the desire to travel into deep space and the need to care for her increasingly unstable father.
