The Investigative Journalism Foundation has been named one of the world’s most innovative companies of 2025 by Fast Company magazine. The American business publication released its annual ranking on March 18, placing the IJF in sixth place in the News and Media category. The Investigative Journalism Foundation’s team is growing once again, with Sydney Dawson joining as our first development co-ordinator. Sydney comes to the IJF from the North Shore Women’s Centre, where she was the funding development and communications coordinator. She also led a project working with local bars and restaurants on sexual assault prevention.
